This Privacy Policy explains how Happy Paws Grooming LLC ("Happy Paws," "we," "us" or "our") handles information collected through happypawsgroomingsarasota.com (the "Site"). It covers the Site only. Information you give us in person at the shop or by phone is handled the same way described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form. Your name, email address, phone number and the contents of your message, and, if you choose, your dog's name.
- Online booking. When you book through the Site, you enter details such as your name, phone number, email, address, and information about your pet (for example breed, size, age, vaccination records and grooming notes). Booking is provided by our scheduling partner, MoeGo. See "Online booking" below.
- Email and phone. Anything you send us by email or tell us by phone.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you request and the date and time of your visit. This is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure and diagnose problems.
The Site itself does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy first.
How we use information
- To respond to your questions and messages.
- To schedule, confirm, change and provide grooming appointments, and to send appointment reminders.
- To keep notes about your pet's grooming preferences and needs so we can care for them properly.
- To operate, maintain and secure the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business and the Site, and only as needed for them to provide their services:
- Website hosting (Cloudflare), which serves the Site and processes the technical information described above.
- Contact form delivery (Web3Forms), which receives form submissions and forwards them to our email inbox.
- Online booking and scheduling (MoeGo), which stores appointment, client and pet details and may send reminders by text or email.
- Our business email provider, which stores the messages we receive and send.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect the safety of people or pets, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.
Online booking
Our booking page displays a form provided by MoeGo. Information you enter there goes directly to MoeGo and is also available to us to manage your appointment. MoeGo's handling of that information is also covered by its own privacy policy and terms, and the booking form may use its own cookies to work properly. If you'd rather not book online, call us at 941-377-9663.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number for booking, you may receive appointment confirmations and reminders by text. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out of text messages at any time, or ask us to stop.
Links to other sites
The Site links to other services, such as Google Maps, Facebook and Instagram. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control. We encourage you to review their policies.
How long we keep information
We keep contact messages for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client and pet records for as long as you're a customer and for a reasonable period afterward for our records, unless you ask us to delete them and we're not required to keep them.
Security
The Site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we work with reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@happypawssarasota.com or calling 941-377-9663. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
The Site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be posted on this page.
